The product can be stored in a cool place at 20 to 30°C. Silicone Emulsion being a water-based compound has a shelf life of 60-90 days. After that, there may be a slight algae smell. Using distilled water prevents contamination, and adding 1% hydrogen peroxide solution to the emulsion will eliminate the smell without affecting its performance or properties.
The material is non-flammable, non-toxic, and inert. No skin irritation has been noticed in over 40 years of production, even with daily skin contact. The product is safe for the skin and can be washed off with plain water. In case of eye contact, flushing with water will immediately relieve any temporary irritation.
