Its low volatility, very low vapor pressure, high chemical resistance, and relatively constant consistency over a wide temperature range make it an ideal sealant for high vacuum and high-pressure systems. It is also suitable as a sealant and lubricant for chemical processing equipment.

Applications

• As a sealant and lubricant for glass joints and stop cocks in high vacuum and high-temperature systems, as well as ordinary systems
• Used in pressure-lubricated plug valves, control valves, and ceramic plug cocks
• In valves of water softeners
• Keeps valves of fire extinguishers operable for long periods despite severe temperature conditions and corrosive atmosphere
• Sealant for floating telephone batteries
• Lubricates synthetic rubber 'O' rings, seals, and gaskets
• High tack helps in holding rubber and other parts in position during assembly
• As a release agent for epoxy, polystyrene, polyvinyl chloride, polyester resins, and other plastics
• Effective when other common release agents, including silicone agents, fail

The product can be stored in a cool place @20 to 30C of temperatures. Minimum of 6 Months to 1 Year is the best Product Life from Manufacturing or Supply Date.
